Sat 5th Mar 2016 Walk to Glenshalloch

No, not Day 3 of the Highlands (I'm still editing photos for that post-to-come) but seeing as this morning dawned bright and sunny if not a little cold (a balmy 3 degrees) we rugged up and set off a short drive away (10 minutes) and walked through the forestry woods at Glenshalloch.

heading out of Newton Stewart the town looked picturesque and the River Cree was serene

the spooky house I featured quite a while back but it didn't have snow before

a fine paddock of rams

mole hills are everywhere throughout the paddocks and I know I'll see the elusive little dears one day!

hooroo from gorgeous Scotia.... now I'd best get on with editing Day 3 in the Highlands!
