Just a 70+yrs old widowed aussie girl resuming her solo journey through life. Previously known as Rose from Oz, this blog is Fitzy's solo travel record. She's in constant search of one more magnificent old building; one more mountain, river and valley, and to capture that one more experience that will make her heart sing. (She likes to think she's a better hiker and photographer than she really is.) Many posts from previous trips to the UK and Ireland have been archived, due in part because it was shared travel, not solo. But some she likes to keep active.
