A round trip of Anglesey Island Wales

Headed off for a Sunday Drive today crossing the famous bridge (Brittania) for Anglesey Island and on to beautiful Penmon Point where an emergency service was delivered no matter the subject - the cafe owners dog chased two valuable neighbouring farm sheep into the ocean with one nearly drowning to death. A visiting lady on the beach threw herself into the ocean to save the sheep whilst someone else called the coast guard. It was all very dramatic, sirens wailing etc. The said sheep will survive and his mate is still racing around the beach. I cannot believe how beautiful the welsh countryside is and the views from the motorway is awesome to say the least. I'll let the photos from todays outing speak for themselves but I'll add a little footnote here and there on the photos.

Tomorrow I head off on my second solo adventure - if catching the bus to and from the village shopping centre can be classed a solo adventure! Anyhow, I'll be over nighting at Betws y coed in the Snowdonia National Park..... I will be delivered safely to the train station and ensure I get a ticket to the right station because I've paid for my accommodation and I would not like to end up in..... well goodness knows where I could end up unsupervised.

PS...the first 7 photos are from Saturdays drive along the coast to the lovely little seaside town of Rhyl and photo 8 commences todays gorgeous drive.

Point Penmon and Puffin Island

safely tucked up in the emergency vehicle to be delivered in person to the farmer I guess!

I am also terribly impressed with welsh farming methods with both beef and dairy cattle in prime condition along with sheep and from what I can see,  excellent pasture management as well.

.......now for some lunch

..... a quick detour to visit the town with the longest name in the United Kingdom and possibly the world. Haha try and pronounce it!

Scenery so stunning from the length of the motorway - the photos do not do it justice

....and back at Colwyn Bay after a fabulous outing
