Edinburgh Day 1...of 4!

Back in Wales now, and will take me a couple of days to get all the posts up of the 4 days in Edinburgh!. so.......on Tuesday after a gorgeous train trip to Edinburgh taking in Wales and English countryside before entering Scotland we arrived at Waverley Station Edinburgh and made our way to Market Street and up the Scotsmans Steps (phew) into Southbridge Road to our Hotel. It turned out to be an excellent location for a short stay as we could walk everywhere without having to turn to buses or trains.

...settled in to our Hotel and set off exploring the neighbourhood including the high section of the Royal Mile to the Castle, down through Cowgate and into the Grassmarket where we dined at the Beehive Pub. It was all fabulous! And boy did we clock up some miles!
