Therapy needed ~ retail will have to do

I spent the morning at the Tweedmill shopping complex to hopefully lose my maudlin thoughts somewhere between the rows of pretty wares on display and the excellent coffee shop located next to huge windows which looked out to a view that mirrored my mood.
One downfall to being far away from home is losing track of time and dates - meaningful dates. I completely forgot Homegirl and Roger's wedding anniversary earlier this month and almost forgot Spicegirl and Rod's today (both occasions for rejoicing) the latter being much more difficult considering it is my own as well. I thought the 19th wasn't for another day or two. See what I mean? about time and dates getting away.

...a chilly, cold, drizzly, uninspiring day - but more oft than not a spot of retail therapy improves things (two floors of generous size, to improve things) a bit bigger than our Myer

   .... did a drive-by, drive-around Denbigh Medieval Town
to have a quick look at the castle and the old streets and houses.

...remnants of the old medieval walls surrounding the town

...Denbigh Castle was built following the 13th century conquest of Wales by Edward 1.

..a fly-by visit to an old market town like Denbigh wouldn't be complete without some rooftops

...remnants of medieval times everywhere

...St Mary's

... and whoever would have thought that the medieval town of Denbigh would be home to my dream car...

Happy anniversary KB
