Edinburgh - final 48 hours, 5-6 Oct 2017

I knew I had two photos of one of my favourite streets in Edinburgh (Victoria Street) it curves around gracefully, is very steep with lots of old world shops and colour. These have been taken from the high and low ends.

following on from last post, well after leaving the Union canal area and following more streets we came across the University area of Edinburgh and eventually visited the Surgeons Museum.
I was terribly disappointed to learn that NO PHOTOS at all were permitted. I was so keen to see Obstetrics and Gynaecology to take some photos for Sherry! Oh how she would have loved this museum on the very fringe of the whole university area. But I got some lovely exterior photos.

some Halls and Houses of Edinburgh University

...and the magnificent Surgeons Museum - outstanding!

...the building's interior and its exhibits nothing short of magnificent and, at times shocking!

... who wouldn't be inspired amid these greats, to learn amazing things and reach for the stars!

...leaving the awesome university area we turned towards the Royal Mile and a poignant revisit to Her Majesty and the Palace of Holyrood House. She was in Scotland a short time ago, but I believe she has since returned to England... we just keep missing each other!

...just playing his little heart out!

...St Giles as stunning as ever

... a final stroll along Princes Street, the gardens and the Scot Monument before catching the train at Waverley Station.

Goodbye Edinburgh, I truly do love you

I WILL return
THE END
