Edinburgh Day 2..of 4!

I'm starting a little back to front here, enjoy these shots of Edinburgh by night! Fabulous!

...back to day time, with Biddy's at the Grassmarket being the best breakfast venue ever with great street views.

... Bobby's nose is being rubbed raw since the last time I saw him

.... a walk through Greyfiriars Kirkyard and me with Bobby - such a sad tale

...the Writer's Museum is a must-see and is awesome, it totally stunned me, I loved it! Google has detailed information if you're interested.

... I was thrilled to get to the Writer's Museum this time as I missed it on previous visits, it was remarkable.

... Lloyds Banking group Museum on the Mound is a fascinating story and after a visit there and then being strictly denied entry to a door around the other side (Headquarters of Lloyds Bank) and restricted access, the security guard was kind enough to (very quickly) open the door and permit me a nano second picture of a tiny bit of the inside!

...Edinburghs parks and gardens are incorporated throughout the city and beautiful
...yet another place I hadn't visited on previous occasions - the National Gallery, stunning! and nowhere near enough time to thoroughly enjoy its offerings. There is seating in each gallery to sit and just absorb the magnificent art in quiet surroundings, just marvellous

...walking further afield down more obscure streets away from the main tourist hub spots we came across the beautiful St Johns - it was unremarkable from the outside and so easy to pass by. I've learned that one is welcome to enter and visit any Church in Edinburgh.

... and surprise! our meanderings led us to the theatre district and the famous Usher Hall!!

...who cant help but admire the Caledonian!

...and after what surely must have been 100+kms of walking I finally found the start of the Union Canal...it runs between Edinburgh and Falkirk Scotland and I'd love to do it in a longboat on the Canal...

...we walked its length and Im so very pleased I found it

...and more sights and pretty things and the unusual

That's it, I'm too tired to do more!
I think I'm mixing the order up a bit
but hey! who cares, right?
